Welcome to Les Vieilles Digues, our charming guesthouse near Mont Saint-Michel.
Our home is above all a place of sharing and conviviality. We are delighted to welcome you as our guests, while ensuring everyone’s comfort and tranquility.
Please take a moment to read these few guidelines, designed simply to make everyone’s stay pleasant and peaceful.
🕰️ Arrivals and departures
To ensure we can welcome you in the best possible conditions:
You may drop off your luggage and collect your keys from 10:30 a.m.
Rooms are guaranteed ready from 3:00 p.m.
We are generally available until 8:00 p.m. However, if we have to step out, we will contact you to arrange self-check-in.
If you expect to arrive after 8:00 p.m., please let us know in advance so we can organize your access.
Without prior agreement, arrivals after 8:00 p.m. cannot be guaranteed.
On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 10:30 a.m. so we can prepare the house for our next guests.
☕ Breakfast
Breakfast is served buffet-style:
• From 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in high season
• From 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. in low season
The products offered are intended only for this friendly breakfast moment. Please do not take food away for later in the day.
🛏️ Rooms
All our rooms feature a queen-size bed (160x200).
The triple room also includes a single bed (90x200).
Twin beds are not available.
Our rooms are designed for rest and relaxation.
They are not suitable for preparing meals or doing laundry.
Each room includes:
• A television
• Free Wi-Fi (illegal downloading is strictly prohibited)
For your safety, we recommend not leaving valuables in the rooms or vehicles, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft.
Our rooms are not PMR accessible, and some are located upstairs.
The double room with external private bathroom has its own locked bathroom located across the hallway. This feature is reflected in its lower room rate.
🧺 Room care and service
Les Vieilles Digues is a guesthouse, not a hotel.
We are a small team of two and do our best to offer you a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Each room is fully cleaned between guest stays.
However, we do not provide daily room service for multi-night stays.
Please feel free to come see us if you need anything (fresh towels, tea and coffee supplies, emptying bins, toilet paper, etc.).
We’ll always do our best to help — with a smile 😊
🚭 Common areas and respect for the house
Our entire home, including the rooms, is non-smoking.
A smoking area is available outside, near the bicycle garages.
We kindly ask you to:
• Respect the peace and quiet of the house and other guests
• Limit noise after 10:00 p.m.
• Leave your room in good condition upon departure
• Report any accidental damage
Children are very welcome and remain under their parents’ responsibility throughout the stay.
🐾 Pets
We love animals, but for the comfort and serenity of all, we cannot accommodate pets in our rooms.
If this rule is not respected, we may have to refuse the stay, without refund.
🌍 Our eco-friendly approach
We care deeply about preserving our beautiful region and protecting the environment.
Please help us reduce our impact by adopting a few simple habits:
• Turn off lights when leaving a room
• Avoid letting water run unnecessarily
• Keep showers short
• Use only the towels and pillows you really need
• Throw only toilet paper into the toilet (a bin is provided for other waste)
• And of course, never litter 🌿
🔑 Keys and security
In case of key loss, a €70 replacement fee will be charged.
The guesthouse parking area, available free of charge for our guests, is under video surveillance.
💳 Reservations and conditions
Reservations can be made by phone, email, or directly on our website.
A credit card imprint is required at booking.
Accepted payment methods: credit card, cash, and French checks.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival are refundable.
After that period, the booking becomes non-refundable.
Prices are indicated excluding tourist tax (€0.85 per adult per night) and excluding VAT (10%), with the total amount including tax shown at the time of booking.
